Initial Consultation- Cecile will meet with you to discuss subject matter and your purposes for your painting. This consultation is free.
Once an agreement is made, photographs and quick sketches will be made if necessary. You will select a pose for your portrait. This process may be done by mail and telephone if distance is a factor.
Portrait sitting (s) will be scheduled as necessary. One or two sittings are typical, but portraits may be done from professional photographs if the subject is not available for sitting.
With children a single meeting and relaxed photo session will usually suffice.
Group portraits may be painted from a composite of separate photos and sittings.
